As with any service organisation, the strength of the firm may be assessed by the quality of the staff it employs. Suleman Shittu & Co. devotes considerable resources to developing and maintaining the quality of staff all at levels.
The process starts with the recruitment of carefully selected candidates either at student level or to a more limited extent from amongst recently qualified accountants. New staff members attend courses at the beginning of their career or shortly thereafter to introduce them to our approach to work and to inculcate in them the standard we apply. Thereafter, practical experience is supplemented by a programme of continuing education up to and including partner level.
Senior members of staff including the partners strictly attend Mandatory Continuing Professional Education Programme organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Mandatory Professional Training Programmes organised by the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
